Contract with GUS Technology signed
Following an initial LOI signed last year, TioTech and GUS Technology have signed an agreement formalising the collaboration between the companies.
The collaboration includes joint development of TitanBTM batteries, using TioTech`s patented anode materials and their inclusion in GUS’ existing product portfolio. The companies will also explore the possibility for joint production facilities in Europe.
GUS Technology is a Taiwanese battery cell producer focussing on lithium titanate (LTO) and NMC material systems. They are specialised in pouch cell production and design their own battery modules. In 2023, they launched Taiwan`s first battery gigafactory in Zhongli. “We are delighted to be working closely with such a pioneering battery company as GUS Technology”, says Paul Winson, our Head of Sales.
To supply GUS Technology’s full production needs would require thousands of tons TitanBTM per year and the collaboration is an important milestone for TioTech, motivating current and new investors for building an industrial size production for TitanBTM.
